This original family home accommodates a growing family and the floor plan was not suited to their needs. Nest Design was engaged to formulate various spatial plans to enhance the usability of the space. The walls dividing the kitchen and living areas stunted the space, creating dark spaces and obstructing the flow. To rectify this, we redesigned the kitchen and living areas to create an efficient, purposeful, open plan space filled with natural light. What was once a grouping of dark, pokey rooms has become a functional, uncluttered, airy and usable space which features timeless, elegant surfaces throughout for all the family to enjoy.
